Jul 15 - ups and downs

The Hills of Hockley should really be called Hills of Caledon and Hockley.  There's a goodly amount of climbing -- or would that be "bigly?".  In fact, the amount of climbing per 100km is greater than LEL.  It was a good workout although I wasn't feeling tip top, kind of sluggish.  I always wonder when I do one of these things how I can possible do a 1200k+.

Finished a little after 6pm, I was home by 9:45.  Everyone but Matthew was still up, but dispersed.  Jason put on a fire, normally Gavin's "thing" and the gang partook.  Even I wandered over for a few minutes.

This morning Jeffrey is just getting ready now.  Usually they're out of here shortly after 6am but he decided to get a good night's sleep.  They'll likely hit some traffic going south.  It was pretty easy driving to & from yesterday.

It was a beautiful day in Southern Ontario and I heard that it was beautiful here too.  The Davies inflated their swans and everyone had a good time in the water.  I gather that all the toys were in play.   I missed out but you cannot do everything.

I'm no sure when Stef and Kylie will head out.  It's going to be so quiet here tonight ... we're going to miss the crowd.  Cassie will certainly miss the crowd !  She and Mya have had a good time together; not quite as rambunctious as Abby and Mya used to get but that's because Mya is showing her age; slowing down.

Onward ...
