Jul 5 - this and that

Almost every day is this and that unless I'm riding of course.  This and that is generally about the house.

I did some bike work, partly assembling my travel bike, doing some cleanup, replacing the rear derailleur and brake pads -- they squealed all throughout Italy ... ugh.  I'd been lazy and hadn't touched them but regretted it.  The RD was getting a bit sloppy and they're cheap to replace.  The springs get less springy and the shifting suffers.

I went out for a short ride on my the Litespeed, just 30kms to warm up my legs.  My left hand in sort, kind of sprained from so many hours resting on the hoods. 

Sandy went to Parry Sound and met up with Stef who handed over Lauren.  She then did some grocery shopping and had lunch with the three girls, returning a little bit before I got back. 

Cassie is getting lots of exercise !   She's loving it !

Today ... maybe another bike ride.  We'll see.  I don't see the need to put on lots of miles but do want to keep some modicum of fitness, obviously.
