I'm now more deaf than I started. We had booked Bat Out Of Hell and it was so good that we then booked Motown. We got up the next a.m. And when I went to Mass, Sandy got us tickets to School of Rock, an Andrew Lloyd Webber takeoff on the movie of the same name with Jack Black.
SOR started off slow but was a wonderful show, the lead was amazing and the kids fantastic. Motown was ok but if we had to rank them, it would come in third.
We ate well, of course - Lebanese, Vietnamese and plain old Pret-a-Manger wonderful salads and wraps. The train station is only a few minutes walk away so it was easy getting into London, a combination of overground and underground. We both got Oyster Cards because our Visa cards weren't authenticated for tap and go ... or they just didn't like them.
We stayed in Le Meridian Piccadilly overnight and were back checking into our Premier Inn for the third time. We'd only taken small bags and backpacks into London having left big bags here. It worked out really well - all seat-of-the-pants bookings. We're getting good at that.
Today we intend to visit Cambridge. Tomorrow ... back to Eastern Time.
