Sep 20 - great day for a ride

Ride for me; walk & kayak for Sandy -- lake glassy calm; winds moderate on the road; sunny; warm -- what more can you ask for ?  Well, Sandy wants crisp fall days.  Go figure.

Before riding, I piled that little bit of wood but not much else.  After riding, I caught up on some emails, answered a number of questions from the Minnesota Randonneurs as they prep to run their first 1200k and had a 1 hour call with them at 8pm.

Oh yes, and I went through the TD package as I've got to do something with Sandy's RRSP's ...

... and Sandy caught up with Nancy (and Ron) re their upcoming trip to FL after Christmas.  Ron is doing well but Nancy is having some disc problems.  She also traded messages with Kylie; we're hoping to see her next week before she heads to Oz but of course we'll see her in November.

... and that was our day.

Maria looks like it's going to stay out to sea and not hit mainland US, so that's a good thing but it's made quite a mess of where it did hit.  It sure is lucky that we're not experiencing climate change ...

I've got some work to do once we're in Florida to improve my fitness level prior to Sydney Melbourne.  I was dragging yesterday.

Today ... Sandy may head to Sudbury ... I'm not sure what's on my agenda.

Onward !
