Sep 21 - unbelievable weather

6am; 67F outside; Sept 22.  Unbelievable.  Usually that would be the inside temperature, having cooled down overnight !

Sandy went to Sudbury, making a dent in the bank account and credit cards.  Stuff is now piling up downstairs destined for Florida.  Dates, cereal, avocado oil, canned salmon, dog food; those were some of the items on our list.

I went into town, setting the minnow traps on the way, picking up mail and sending mail.  Outbound forms for Sandy's RRSP's; outbound jerseys one to Colorado and one to BC; inbound Cottage Life renewal reminder.  They never give up.

Late in the day I went back to the traps -- 3 minnows -- not enough to go fishing !  The small creek that runs under 522 just east of the dump was a raging river ... perhaps the minnows are long washed away.  I should have picked up minnows in town.

I also took back wine bottles for recycling ... but they wouldn't take them.  The Opimian Society bottles don't have UPC's and a new lady in charge said no.  Now I'm tracking down whether we're actually paying deposit -- the Parry Sound liquor store wasn't sure so I've got a query into the club.  Sandy's trunk is still full of liquor bottles ... (she took the SUV into Sudbury, loaded up with other recycling).

I did take down the tree across from Jason's driveway and then afterwards sharpened the saw.  That wood is now piled by the barn but it's not much, my small trailer load and a bit.

... and ... other than the usual load of emails, that's about it.  Another day was done, finished, on the books.

Onward !
