- unloaded some wood from the little trailer. That's been hanging around all summer, took less than 1/2 hour.
- moved some gravel from the pike at the end of the driveway to fill in the ruts from the rain. I borrowed Jason's trailer for that and then realized once I'd backed down to the location that one brake wouldn't hold the 4-wheeler and trailer in place, nor could I dump the trailer nor could I go uphill … but, trying to go uphill dug ruts deep enough to complement the brake :). Duh.
- trimmed the spruces alongside the driveway. That was a job for today and I now have a huge pile of brush to get rid of. I need to cut those trees down and replace with a cedar hedge.
After that, I prepped the bike to ride tomorrow. I'm going to do 200k, or at least that's the plan. Later in the week, I intend to do 400k. I haven't decided where to ride yet. I was playing around with routes and the one has too much highway 11; the other runs too much over 400.
It's Sunday. A week from now, give or take, I'll head off to do Hamid's 1200 out of Leesburg VA and then we head to the east coast … at least that's the plan :). The plan is subject to change.
Onward.
