- M5 usually rough starting, normally have to reset the check engine with the code reader but not this time
- M5 left front tire has a minuscule leak but didn't … perhaps it was sitting on the leak that I've never been able to find.
- I fully expected to have issues with the 40hp on the skiff but it started right up and purrs in idle.
- no inside humidity or dust issues
On the other hand … the new laptop …
- couldn't use the old hp laser jet, no driver available. I gave in and picked up a new printer at Best Buy, same as the one up north, can now print from phone and iPad as well
- my old version of excel on the virtual machine now wants an activation but I don't want a monthly charge from Microsoft
There are some other minor annoyances but in general all is well.
I trimmed a little alongside the dock ramp, bananas and mangroves, to make it easier to get through. We have quite the plantation back there.
I did some rusa tax refiling, responding to a "you didn't file" notice with a copy of the usps receipt and another copy of the paper (thus the need for a printer).
I needed the printer anyway for some ISR catch-up and personal stuff.
We did another home covid test, still clean. It appears that the vaccine is doing its job but who knows. We'll do a PCR test late in the week which should put us past the incubation period.
I rode on Monday, caught a lot of rain. Welcome to Florida. I will ride again today and likely plan a 200K for either Friday or Saturday.
That's about it.
