Very windy again today -- 15-20 mph from the NE and it looks like it's supposed to be the same tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to the ride across the country where every day will be different scenery and we'll have a destination ...
Am I bored yet ? -- with the training yes. I'm packing in the miles to ensure that I'm ready (hopefully I'm ready) but it is monotonous. It was more interesting during bike week.
The temperature was just over 60 so I wore my vest the entire time. Even though it is not on the packing list supplied by the ride organizers it is definitely something that I'll bring along.
Sandy did some clothes shopping on Flagler. I got the boat ready for another ride. I'm starting to try and figure out how we are going to get everything in the car and boat for the trip north -- that will be a challenge. It would be easier if we didn't have the bike and Alex's computer ... as it is we are going to leave the ski gear behind for another trip.
Ride stats -- 2 water bottles; 1 cliff bar; 2 gels; -- 70.5 miles @ 16.4 mph.
