June 12 -- anyone for a swim ?

It's hot up here -- high 80's today. I worked inside all day making progress on the basement. I only have one more sheet of plywood to put down in the general area and then I have to move into the bedroom, games room and eventually the darkroom. I think that I'll start with the bedroom, moving out the boxes from the move, clean and paint the floor.

Sandy arrived around 4pm (I think) -- I was working downstairs with the stereo playing and didn't realize that she was here for quite a while. We are now loaded up with food for a few days -- especially fish from the St. Lawrence Market. Sandy has to go into Sudbury tomorrow to return a sample tile that she brought home, something that we may put downstairs.

Tomorrow evening we are supposed to go over to the Whippoorwill lodge for dinner. They are returning a favour since I towed them down the lake when they had outboard motor trouble last year.

This time of year spring explodes in the north. Everything happens at once -- the insects, the birds nesting, the trees polinating -- the amount of pollen in the air and in the water is amazing -- if you want to use a table outdoors you have to wash it a couple of times a day -- perhaps Abby wants to go for a swim ??
