Nov 15 - first legs, then butt

On Friday my legs were complaining. They get back into the groove fairly quickly though -- felt much better today. Today was my butt's turn to complain. After so much riding for so long, the legs come back quickly. The butt is something else, however. It gets soft quickly and doesn't seem to have the same memory that muscles do ... hmmm.

North again, this time into a NNE wind that was supposed to be NNW. It wasn't as strong as Friday but still made for work, but that's Florida cycling for you. It was beautiful, sunny, 70-something and wonderful riding.

That, after Mass this morning, followed by a trip to Home Depot pretty much made my day. We had Lane Snapper (new one on us) for dinner, along with one of Sandy's staples (as of this summer) leeks and carrots.

Sandy got out for a walk, her first in quite a while. When asked how it was the response was "hot". Hey ... better than "cold".

Tomorrow Ritchie starts on the master bath. I just had this flash -- somehow this might be easier if I was doing it. I have to hang around so that he gets the curb in the right place ... among other things. I could simply do the work rather than hang around and then debate with him over how I want the job done. As you might expect, I get in the way :).

Sandy may or may not be going back to Stone Crazy tomorrow -- the granite place. She took the sink template in on Friday, but of course they wanted the sink itself. If not tomorrow, then she'll probably be going on Tuesday, except Tuesday is Luke day (the plumber). Who knows ... ??
