Oct 14 - rain > ducks

It's official. More rain that ducks. We did get one, however. We also watched two movies and played pool. That was our day ... how was yours ?

Actually there's not much more to tell. I did sneak in a little project, clearing up an annoyance while Alex was having a shower -- installed a switch at the entrance of the boathouse for the boathouse light. It was annoying having to walk into the back of the dark boathouse to turn on the light with a pull-chain. Jason would call that a 1st world annoyance. Definitely a first world annoyance.

We had Sandy's sausage and mushroom lasagne for dinner -- excellent -- and Sandy and Alex had some of her also excellent apple pie. I'm not a pie-fanatic, however, so I had some of her pumpkin bread.

There were two movies that we started and stopped -- don't bother with The Green Hornet and there was another that was so non-memorable that I don't even remember what it was. We did watch National Treasure, light-hearted comedy / action / whatever. We also watched 1408 with John Cusack -- gripping horror with lots of twists and turns.

Today -- still rain on and off. It will be another day like yesterday.
