Mar 20 - some maintenance

I'm still finishing up those pocket doors, but just about through. I did some painting this a.m.

The other day when I stopped to talk to Harris at our street corner, as I stood there my front tire went flat ... what timing ! I walked home and decided to fix it later.

I already had the Hummer on the bike stand so I started cleaning it first and checked the chain ... oh oh, time to replace. That made it easier to clean the entire drivetrain.

Once that was complete and the bike hung up, I turned my attention to the Lynskey. Up on the stand ... check the chain ... oh no, another to replace ! I'm using up my spares, only one left. Some more cleaning later and tube replacement later (I had a steel belt tiny wire through the tire), that bike was ready to ride.

Putter, putter, putter and the day went by. I also took a Harley run out to Riley's, dropping off some mail.

Sandy doesn't remember what kind of fish she bought but will recognize it the next time, so she says :). It was good though, along with ride and her leek/carrot mixture we escaped starving for another day.

Today ... the paramed came and did the EKG. Now I have to lean on the insurance co to make their determination before April 1 so that I can cancel the other policy and not pay for another calendar quarter.

Today ... thunderstorms all around but no rain yet. I may just go out and climb the causeway over and over. Sandy went up to Ormond Beach for a facial, so she couldn't rescue me in the event of a thunderstorm.

Onward !
