The warm weather continues unabated, both here and up north. The predicted high is 81F; up north it's supposed to hit 79F ! Is it Global Warming ? Is it El Nina ? I guess that 50 years out they'll be able to analyze the 10-25 year trendline and tell us for sure.
I'll mark my calendar :).
The mostly east wind made the east-to-west trip from Merritt Island to Titusville a breeze (ha) but plucked away at me the rest of the time.
I've been playing around with the blood pressure monitor that Sandy bought -- love new toys. I've always noticed that my BP cycles down when I stop exercising / stand up suddenly / whatever, because I get dizzy. Out of curiosity I checked it yesterday when my ride was over and I'd showered and calmed down. I guess that 95/58 is a bit low ... explains how I feel. In the a.m. it was reading 114 / something, hr=48, and that was even after my coffee. I'll have to chart it for a while and see.
I started, but haven't quite finished, installing latches/locks on the guest bathroom pocket doors upstairs. It's a bit of a pain on those hollow doors especially since the existing pulls were installed in random locations. There's a bit of patching to do but I'll finish that up today and then then doors will need repainting. I want that done before the next round of guests arrive so that Emma doesn't go into the bathroom when it's occupied :).
Today ... over to the gym in a minute ... finish up latches ... make a few phone calls (I really have to setup annual medical appointments but I've been stalling). I think that's it. I'm still itching to do some more work on the car, inspect those rear shock mounts, but may not touch them until after Jeffrey leaves.
Bev and Bruce were supposed to be coming over today but hadn't gotten Sandy's confirmation phone call. I guess that we won't see them until May, based on mutual calendar availability. This is worse than scheduling when I was working !
I realized yesterday that we only have two free weekends left before we head north for the summer. Yikes !
Onward !
