Jan 31 - and now for finishing touches

I'm basically finished with the flooring, from a large scale perspective.  I've got a diddly piece to cut for the doorway to the upstairs bedroom hallway and then I'll lay another piece or two and wait to see what we do vis-a-vis the carpeting on the stairs. 

I've got some transition strips to put down -- hallway to elevator and River Room door slider that I left because I want to caulk that area like crazy before finishing it up.  I need to do the same with the den/loft slider too.  I've got shelves to figure out and install for the bathroom entrance-way and Front Bedroom, lighting to add in the hallway which  means working up in the attic, switches to relocate while I'm up there ...

I'm not bored yet !  Oh yes, and before I do any of that, I've got baseboard to do so that I can finish the den/loft. 

We're going to try putting the computer desk in a different location.  I've already run the cable so that I can use the modem over there.  Then I have to start shopping for furniture or think about building a small shelving unit. 

Today ... we may go to Orlando to hit Costco.  We didn't get to Costco at all last year. 

It's cold out there !  39F !  I'm going to have some cold temps for the start of my ride tomorrow, likely below freezing but quickly warming.  I have some prep to do for that, setting up the route etc. in my Garmin.

We had a rib steak out of the freezer for dinner.  It didn't look very good, from a steak standpoint, so I trimmed it and cubed it and Sandy did a stir fry.
