Mar 14 - safe harbor

Flyer in hand, Jerry and I went to the new Harbor Freight in Orange City, about the same driving time as the one in Ormond Beach. Jerry bought an aluminum hitch rack and a couple of small items.  I bought a couple of small items and was tempted by many more.  The "Princess Auto" of the U.S., it's always interesting to wander around.

Back home, we had lunch and then I took Jerry over to the gym, signing him up for a free day.  He worked out for about an hour.

In the meantime, Sandy, Kylie and Beth got back home from doing some shopping and then headed out again, visiting the manatees at Blue Springs.  Apparently there were hundreds of them, rolling over each other it was so crowded in there, taking advantage of the warmer water.

It stayed cool all day and the wind picked up as the day wore on.  This morning the thermometer says 35F but luckily it will be warming up for the weekend -- predicted high of 81F for tomorrow's 400k.

We had tuna for dinner; Beth's first time.  She loves fish and loved tuna.  Kylie, of course, has already had tuna and loves it, as does Jerry.  Add rice and beans and we ate well again.

Today the girls are going to Disney.  Jerry and I will drive (yes, drive) into Daytona and visit the bike week festivities.  We'll also get organized and packed for the 400k that starts at 4am tomorrow.  We'll have to leave the house around 2am.

Onward !
