It never really got up to the advertised 60's, at least where I was riding. With the wind coming from the east the cool ocean and intracoastal waterway left an edge. It was windy. From the northeast as I headed north and from the southeast as I headed south. That's happened the last 2-3 times out. Oh well, it's better than biking in Ontario !
Before that, I had my workout with John and my Physio with Richard. The shoulder gets a little bit better each day but it's slow. I want to get back to pain-free motion and the same range of movement as I had before. Grrr ... I'd love to send a nasty note to the fellow who hit me !
Abby got her walk. We watched an episode of Law & Order. We had pork tenderloin for dinner + potatoes on the grill and green beans. Sandy got a quote on replacing the stairway carpet ... I think that we'll sit on that, more expensive than I'd thought.
Another day was done.
Today I'm off to the dentist, or rather, the Periodontist. I prefer long dragged-out cleanings, which is really the point of the visit. For insurance reasons, or perhaps because they want to sell me stuff ?, I've got an appointment with the perio before the cleaning. No doubt he'll want to do more gum work as does Galli in Oakville, but that's been stable for a long time.
The sun is up.
It's about to get busy. Jerry arrives on Sunday; Kylie and Beth on Tuesday. Abby will be happy !
