Apr 4 - day gone by

What does that title mean ?  It means that after a few seconds, I didn't come up with something else; nothing notable happened !

I worked out with John, the normal Thursday routine.  Oh yes, I then called my GP's office, because they'd called me but they were on my list already.  As I suspected, United Healthcare was giving them a hard time about the MRI.  As I suspected, it's going to be better to see the specialist first (booked for Apr 16), have him prescribe the MRI, go back to the specialist etc. etc.  I just want to ensure that this is over before we head north.  I really don't expect to fix my problem before then, just get a "reading" and set my longer term expectations for recovery and/or possible treatments.

As usual, I did stuff on the PC; that always occupies me on and off during the day.

I also did a run to the bank and the Auto store, picking up an oil filter for the X5 -- yes, it's time.  Perhaps I'll do that today.

I spent time with my bike, cleaning it up, changing tires etc. getting ready for the 600k tomorrow.  I'll drive to Jupiter after dinner tonight, about 2.5 hours away.  The ride starts at 5am.  By midnight or earlier (I hope), I'll have completed the first 400k and be back in Jupiter, catch a couple of hours sleep and then embark on the 200k portion.  Given a finish around noon on Sunday, give or take, I'll clean up a bit and then drive back to NSB, no doubt stopping to nap along the way.  I'll get to Mass on Sunday evening in Port Orange.

We had heavy rain activity all around us yesterday but never got hit.
