That rain was overnight, not really on the 18th, but hey, worth noting.
As mentioned, I weed-whacked the weeds. They actually hadn't grown all that much because we've had so little rain.
I did some organizing for the trip, doing bike-clothes laundry, sorting out same for the bags. I'll mostly finish packing today although it's not a huge rush, since I have some time tomorrow a.m. My plan is to stop at Stef's on the way, well not really on the way but close. I'm interested in seeing how things look with furniture.
The day flew by, not sure why since I didn't do all that much. Sorting and starting packing takes time, of course, as does watching TV -- yes -- watched the double l'Alpe d'Huez unfold. Today is another big climbing day. I'll be in the UK, of course, when the Tour de France finishes, but much too occupied with my travels to pay attention.
Jason is coming up tomorrow, so I won't see them until I'm back from LEL. During that time Sandy will be making a trip to PQ to visit Carol and Sheryl and then coming back to Toronto to get her hair done. Abby will be a traveling dog again.
During LEL you can get updates on my progress by following this link:

I am rider B15, included in the link. I have no idea what it will show. There is no overall list of riders that you can see; I guess privacy laws preclude that.
The ride doesn't actually start until Sunday July 29. My start time is 6am London time.
Onward !
