Aug 10 - I knew it !

There had to be more !  It only took about an hour, but I moved the maple that David and I cut from behind/beside the barn to out front for splitting.  That was accomplished with the 4-wheeler. 

There were about a dozen pieces that I could barely lift into the trailer.  In fact, I had to drop the tail-gate because getting them a foot off the ground was all I could manage. 

David and I will be splitting that, the blown-down birch from the waterfront and the pieces of hemlock, all on Labour Day weekend, if all goes well.
