Aug 6 - back in a routine ?

Hard to say -- it will be short lived -- all the Granite Anvil stuff starts shortly.

I got my bike out of the box and re-assembled, using the Cycleops wheels and went for a ride.  It was on-and-off drizzle, so my plan was only to ride to 69 and back, which I did.  Even so, it felt good to be rolling.  I'll get out again tomorrow, I expect, for my normal length ride.

Jason was on the road by noon, wanting to beat the Toronto traffic.  Kylie is still with us but Sandy is taking her back to Barrie today.

Today's weather looks the same as yesterday -- cloudy, perhaps some rain.  If it stays dry, I'll probably get out the 4-wheeler and move some of that wood from behind the barn to the front, ready for splitting.

Did I do anything else yesterday ?  Hmmm.  There must have been something but it wasn't memorable.

We had a mouse in the house, which I sucked up with the vacuum cleaner.  Undoubtedly there are more; it's impossible to keep mice out, so I put down some mouse seed.  Given the size of the basement, however, I'll need to find a few strategic spots.

We were living off the land yesterday -- potatoes and zucchini from the garden and fish from the lake.  It was good !

Onward !
