Another day flew by. I put the final touches on the wheel re-build; I'll be on that wheel tomorrow for my ride, so if there are any adjustments required afterwards, I'll be able to do that prior to my Granite Anvil ride.
Abby and I popped over to Jim and Bonnie's in the afternoon in time to see Pauline and Mark and their four kids. Abby hammed it up with the kids and got her picture taken -- the world-renowned dog ! The gang then left for Pam's. I helped Jim make some adjustments to his TV and we looked over a trailer that he's thinking of buying.
What else .... well yes, Sandy, Abby and I headed to Le Grou's Lake to meet up with the boat at the landing to go to my Aunt's. Anne and her Paul were there along with Christine and Maurice and their two boys. We had a great dinner; it was good to see everyone and not be standing outside of the Loring church. Of course I'll see them at the Loring church today too, but what the heck.
Oh yes, we had the meeting in town. The person who was supposed to open the Legion didn't show up so we met in the parking lot. It was a beautiful day, so that worked out well. Heck, we won't have to pay for the hall rental ! I'm on for another year, as is Susan. Randy is stepping down; Pat Martin is stepping up. We discussed logging, cell phone tower, water levels, vandalism on one of the roads by kids on 4-wheelers and a variety of other off-topic things. Mike Nadon would have been agitated ! Dean Martin (MTO) is more patient. Mike's still off work, needing another round of chemo etc.
Onward !
