Sep 12 - it gets worse !

83F this a.m. but at least I'm not cycling !  That's being left for tomorrow in Port Elgin Ontario where the forecast overnight temperature has "warmed up" to 4C.  I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this because the yellow bike doesn't have a rack-pack.

At any rate ... I fixed the faucet at the back of the house, the one that had produced a fountain when the handle broke off.  That didn't take a lot of time but since the valves, if they do exist, are buried beneath the deck, I had to find a setup for inserting a valve between two braided hoses.  My first purchase from HD didn't quite work but I found something at ACE.

I also sprayed the growing hornet's nest over the front door.  That shooting spray works wonders.  The entire colony dead, immediately.  Now I can get in there with the ladder and remove the hurricane shutters over that little window.

Jeffrey, Sara and Emma went to Daytona and then later Jeffrey and Emma went to the beach.  I did some packing for my trip; still more to do.
