Holy Crap. I left the house a little after 6am and was back before 11:30. What should have been the coolest part of the day was brutal. It was already 77F when I left and rain had passed through Daytona earlier, so it was practically steaming. Water ran off me everywhere, coming from inside ! I was pretty dehydrated when I got back, lucky it was only 77 miles !
The rest of the day was pretty quiet. I made a trip to HD and picked up some plumbing. Jeffrey, Sara and Emma went to the show. Sandy picked up dinner. Zoe and Abby stuck around :).
Today, not sure. Tomorrow I fly to Buffalo. I was just printing off some financial reports for the upcoming RO AGM. I did go to the Post Office yesterday and mail some t-shirts -- should I be surprised that it's cheaper to mail a t-shirt to Canada from here than mailing within Canada ? Well, that's the case. Duh.
What else ... oh yes, forgot to mention that earlier on in the week I went to the optometrist and ordered some new glasses. I'm pretty tired of my existing ones that are missing a nose piece.
Stef has advertised holistic services on Kijiji and already gotten a few responses ! She's also signed up herself and Mya to work at a local hospital, Mya being a therapy dog. That should be interesting ! Mya can certainly "talk" to the patients :). All huskies seem to be good at that !
