Oct 18 - kitchen ?

As usual, there's more ...

We did get the laundry room squared away on Thursday.  I ran a load of laundry as did Sandy.  Hey -- it's progress !  The only laundry that I do, not that I'm capable of more, is my biking stuff.  I had a pile from local rides as well as the 1000k.

The other thing that I did was try and get the lights at the eves on the Cooper-side of the house turned on.  They were both corroded so much that they were dead.  All I did was break up the external parts and hang a bulb.  One is now working, in that fashion, and I found the switch in our bedroom ... ha.  The other, that had a light sensor attached, now doesn't, but I cannot find where it turns on.  I thought that perhaps once it was dark it would go on; perhaps it was attached to another switch somewhere; but no.  I haven't checked everything -- perhaps it's attached to the light switch at the upstairs deck or something strange !

I still have one switch on the six-ganger at the dining room entrance that doesn't seem to turn anything on.  I'll continue to hunt for that one :).

----------

Not a whole lot of kitchen yesterday, just the row of cabinets with the sink, lowers only.  However, that means that we have a temporary sink and I then hooked it up along with the dishwasher (what the heck !) and the under-counter hot water heater -- hard to go back to being un-spoiled.

The tiling was completed.  Grouting is underway as I write this, yes on Saturday.  Great !

Jim and Sam were just here and planned out the installation of the staircase stringer -- will need pictures of that operation !  -- which will happen Monday.

We're ready for paint.  I've started doing some work in the laundry room

Can you believe that most of the white walls and the ceiling were never painted ?  It's simply the plaster.  Amazing.  Does that meet code ?  Hard to believe.

I'm going for a bike ride !

Onward.
