Oct 2 - lots happening

We have a trench in the kitchen.  We don't have stairs.  We still have that garage corner -- awaiting some electrical work before cutting.  I re-ran the gas line down to the stove.  That was an SOB job.  That flexi-line is anything but flexible.  I had to go into the attic to drill holes through the beams. 

I helped Brian lift tile and Luke cut the trench -- manual labor keeps me busy rather than just watching !

The dust cloud rolled out the front door, filling the neighborhood.  Cutting that trench with the saw threw up so much dust.  Luckily it was afternoon and the wind came through the house, moving the dust out, well, mostly out.  Everything is pretty well coated.  The living room fan is furry.

Where do we go from here ?  Today, Luke finishes the plumbing.  The electrician's come and do stuff that I could do.  Why can't I do it and get it inspected ?  Who knows.  I could do the plumbing too ... but no.  I could have cut the trench ... but no.  I do get to throw broken tiles into the dumpster.  I do get to move pails of broken concrete into the dumpster.  Today I'm going to do some drywall work.
