Oct 6 - inspected

Yes, we've been inspected.  That was a non-event.  Thankfully the contractors had left for the day because the lady inspector was more interested in talking to the "homeowner" about the kitchen reno in concept than looking in detail at anything.  There were a few items that she could have complained about -- items leftover from the old construction -- but didn't even pay attention.  There was also one area where Jim's guys had gone ahead and hung some drywall and she just assumed that it was "existing".

We now have a wide entrance to the kitchen.  That work was almost an all day affair.  Basically, as I told Sandy, there was one person working for most of the day.  Tony supervised and told Moose what to do.  Moose did the work.  A young fellow, must be someone's relative, seems to be learning the trade and mostly operated the vacuum and/or broom although he did pull some nails and made some wood cuts.

I hovered.  My wings are getting stronger with all the hovering.
