Dec 12 - yes, I'm late

I know, I know.  I've been very good lately getting the blog done early but I fell behind today.

Yesterday I hung the new pendant lights in the kitchen.  The look good except for (my opinion) the "canopy kit".  I didn't know what it was called until I went to Home Depot to see if I could replace them.  Our HD didn't have chrome in stock (the lights are chrome) but they had everything else.  These things are only worth a couple of $ each and I'll keep looking.

I did go for a ride and I did have a Randonneurs Ontario conference call last night.  The two of them pretty much chewed up the day.  The ride was great -- almost no wind heading north, vs the 12+ mph prediction and then the wind started in earnest just before I got to the turnaround and it was a huge tailwind heading back !  What more can you ask for ?

In other news ... we heard via various emails that Norm had a heart attack.  We don't know any more -- who was with him at the time, if anyone.  I just hope that his young grandsons weren't there, since it did happen on Sunday and it sounds like his daughter et al were visiting from New York.

In more news ... there ain't no more that I can think of.  I know, don't end a sentence with a preposition.  However, in this case, "there ain't no more of which I can think" sounds really weird.  I'd have to completely rewrite this one !

Today it's windy and cloudy, really really windy.  We're going to start getting organized for traveling as we might leave before end of day tomorrow and get a couple of hours under our belts, so to speak.

Otherwise ?  Nothing.
