Dec 9 - another time south

That's probably it for this year.  The rest of the week has the wind shifting back from the north, according to the predictions.  That's three days in a row that I did this route but of course one of those was on the Harley.  Regardless, it's nice for a change.

Not much else happened.  Sandy and Marda were out again running errands.  They wanted to go to "The Hub", but it was closed on Monday.

We had Turkey Pot Pie without the crust for dinner, good comfort food.  There's a little bit of turkey left, but not much.  It was only a ten pound bird, after all.

Travel plans are firming up but we still haven't decided on leaving Saturday or Sunday.  It's lucky that we weren't traveling now, with nasty weather right up the slot.  The upcoming weekend looks ok, although Beckley WV is showing a "wintry mix" and of course Erie PA is showing snow showers.  I think that Erie has lake-effect snow all winter.  The Beckley stuff could be messy, since that stretch up US 19 could be problematic with snowy roads.  Beckley is actually the fall-back plan as we would like to stop in Lexington VA to visit Linda and Alec.  Our driving plan also has us staying overnight in Brantford ON with Jason and Lo (and Chilly) so that Sandy can drop off her passport at the office in (Hamilton ?  St. Catharines ?) the next a.m.

That's about it ... some errands today.  If I was smart, I'd bike again today and then again on Thursday.  Both of those days are supposed to be rain-less while Wednesday and Friday have a chance of showers.

Marda leaves today.  Her flight is 11.something, I believe, so they'll be out of here fairly early.

Onward !
