I'm sitting at Starbucks by the St. Lawrence Market. I dropped Sandy off about a half-hour ago.
It was a long trip to Barrie. Four hours in total, at least 2.5 of which were at speeds of 30-60 kph. It was snowing but the worst part was simply the trucks swirling the snow and reducing visibility. Otherwise the roads were quite reasonable, snow covered but plowed.
Parry Sound is predicted to get, possibly, 50 cms of snow. That's a lot. Whatever happens with the X5 we won't go back to the cottage today.
Speaking of which, the parts did come in and the work is underway. I don't know yet if it will be finished today. I hope so ....
Jim and Bonnie are staying put up north. Sandy talked to them while we were on the move.
Kim's car ran into a power steering problem just a mile from home. She left it in the Zayers parking lot and Honda will take it from there. it's a warranty thing I'm sure.
More later ?
