Am I actually making up for lost time or just enjoying the weather ? Who knows. I rode south again and with a good SE wind, sailed back.
We had a gang over from 5-7 -- Jim Brendel and spouse, Tony and spouse, Vic and spouse, Bill and spouse, Jeff, Sam, Charlie, Luke and spouse ... I might be missing some. Only in New Smyrna Beach could you invite over a group of unrelated contractors from a house reno and they all knew each other, AND THEIR SPOUSES. I did take a group picture. We had a good time.
... and another day was done.
I've had a couple of serious inquiries about the boat trailer and am showing it to someone about an hour from now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
David and Kim are still waiting on the formal offer but banking info was exchanged yesterday, papers expected to be signed today. David has to sort out the termination arrangements with Cadet, among other things.
Jeffrey had his last day with Kenexa yesterday, just prior to his birthday today. Monday he starts a new job with Razor.
Time for some pictures ...
Up north we have Osprey Road. Here we just have lots of Ospreys, this one on the tree next door.
How's this for camouflage ? Sheryl's going to disappear against that car outside of Mel's Drive In at Universal Studios. An Edsel, not too many of them hanging around !
Sandy's brief film appearance ... no that's not her hat.
Not quite camouflaged, but here's Jim outside Mel's. Look at the negative camber on those front wheels ! My old X5 looked like that from the back !
Movie clips were shown on this affair of falling water. It's a neat effect. I was surprised that the camera was able to catch the action so well.
We always have lots of birds. I'll bet that you can't bend your neck like this !
Onward ...
