Sheryl and Jim arrived around noon and Jerry about 3pm. Jerry had left Biloxi around 3:30 a.m. It was an easy drive west-to-east but didn't get above freezing until around Tallahassee FL. What a winter !
The riding will begin today, thank goodness. It's now been a week since I've been on the bike. I'd have gone out yesterday except that I know what's coming !
The lady didn't show up who was supposed to pick up the electric adjustable bed, but her truck and driver did. Go figure. They waited as long as they could and then left. We still have the bed.
I went to the post office to pick up the signature-required parcel with my iPhone 5. I'd been out of the house for about 15 minutes the day before when the postman came. I spent a good part of the day fiddling with that, getting it mostly setup the way that I want. I also confirmed that it's unlocked and got the Blackberry and Sandy's iPhone 4s unlocked. We're now set for international travel.
Sheryl is going to take the Blackberry and see if she can get it turned on in Quebec, since it's "foreign" to the U.S. this will be a good test. She should be able to go into a drug store and pick up a sim card.
What else ... not much.
