The days are quite relaxing with Bill and Colette, well mostly. Bill was up before dawn yesterday, off to DeLand for his swim. He reported back later that the pool was at 87F which made it difficult to get a full workout, but he did. I had a great workout with John at the gym.
Being self employed, it's unusual for Bill to be up that early. Colette was up too and in her chair but this one not only rolls but goes up and down and reclines, so she caught a few more winks while I was at the gym. Once I was home she had coffee and then later, some toasted "seedy bread" (the bread that I make with sunflower, flax, sesame, poppy and chia seeds with a multigrain flour base. It has lots of texture.
After lunch we went to the beach, which is something that Colette can only do here. Her chair rolls easily on the hard packed, fine sand. It was busy, lots of cars parked and people sunning and playing, but not very busy in the water as the surf temperature is only 60F. Brrr !
Once home, I headed to the grocery store for a few items. Sandy went to the fish store and picked up Vermilion Snapper. I think that this could very well be my favorite Snapper. It was just as good as the Pompano the night before. Smashed potatoes and beans completed the picture.
Today I hope to get out for a ride. While I ride, the rest of the crew is going to see the manatees at the springs, assuming that they can see some activity on the webcam before heading out.
Once I'm back, we'll do something else, TBD.
Onward !
