Mar 12 - finally, satisfaction

I went for a ride and within 5 minutes, it was pouring.  Rats.  However, I didn't stop even though it was tempting.  It poured for the next 1.5 hours and then partially cleared.  I eventually took the jacket off but later on as it started to drizzle, put it back on.  That didn't last long, however, I finished up the ride with the jacket flapping in the wind.

... and was it windy !  The west wind made it seem like I had a headwind almost all the way home.  Oh well, it was a good workout.

Once home, we got organized to do Wildlife Drive.  We only saw one small alligator even though eagle-eye-Bill was watching carefully.   It was Colette who spotted the pink in the distance and then we saw more Roseate Spoonbills.  There were isolated flocks of different birds but they aren't gathering yet for migration.

We had Sheepshead (yes, that's a fish) for dinner.  It was "ok" but wouldn't rank as a favorite for me.  Sandy sauteed zucchini, kalamata olives etc. and we finished up with quinoa.

This morning there was a message from Amex.  I was just going to file it and then realized that it might have to do with that Country Inn and Suites stay in December where they'd billed us for smoking in the room.  We've been going back and forth with this; the hotel providing some info, Amex re-charging me, I went back again, they went back to the hotel again etc.  It appears that we finally have satisfaction ... and can move ONWARDS !!  For me, it had come down to the principle of the thing more than the money.
