Dick and I headed out a little after 10am and Dick commented that there wasn't any wind ... hmmm. He found out shortly afterwards how wrong he was. Needless to say, first ride of the year, first heat of the year, he was pretty cooked. We got home a little after 3pm, cleaned up and took Abby for a walk.
Sandy and Nuala were out when we got back and I'd assumed that they had Abby, because the X5 was gone. Nope, they were just driving on the beach. That car has the beach permit, naturally.
They'd picked up pompano for dinner and it was excellent. Green beans and baked sweet potato fries completed the picture.
Dick's already out running this morning, intending to do 30k. He's always prepping for marathons. He'll be back in time for us to go boating. Abby will be happy !
