May 22 - two in town

We headed to Sudbury in two cars since our shopping only partly overlapped.  Both cars came back pretty loaded.

I took the items for Costco, Canadian Tire and Home Depot; Sandy took The Independent Store, Tarini's, the pet store etc.  Her big items were paper towels, cereal, dog food and two coolers full of food.  My big items were Sunflower (bird) seeds, softener salt and lots of stuff from Costco.

Abby stayed home.

Shortly after I got back, 12:30-ish, and unloaded, it rained heavily.  Then the sun came out.  It rained again, albeit lightly, when I was tending the barbecue for dinner (pickerel from Tarini's).  I haven't been out fishing yet; shame on me.

I went out on the 4-wheeler again.  Knock on wood, it's starting and running like a charm. Perhaps my fiddling with the needle valve did accomplish something.

I did some organizing to prepare for this weekend's rides -- 300k on Saturday and 200k on Sunday -- both of which I'm hosting.  That means that I must prepare brevet cards for the participants, which isn't that much of a chore, since there are only four of us for the 300 and three for the 200.

I'm going to get the car loaded shortly and will be heading to Barrie -- things to do at Stef's and David's and then dinner with Alex prior to going to Alliston; rooming with Bob Kassel before the 300k on Saturday and in between rides.

Onward ...
