Wow are they bad, inside and out. They come in with Abby.
I went for a 40 mile ride, cutting it short because we were going over to Jim and Bonnie's for 4:30. The day somewhat got away from me. We had a good visit with them; we always do. Somehow, even though we're in the middle of nowhere and there's no one else around, we're too busy to get together.
Sandy did more work on the garden, piling the Davies' leaves on more of the beds and planting potatoes and zucchini. That's all that she's going to plant before we head to the U.K.
The wind was blowing like crazy late in the day, cross-wise on the lake towards us from the left. I went over and checked Jason's dock; it was ok, well secured by cables. Mine was doing some see-sawing, the bolt inset in concrete on the left hand side not doing much any more (it's been like that for a few years). I don't know if using some of that concrete patch stuff would help. That's something to think about.
That's about it ... we leave in a week for Hemmingford. There's a lot to do before then !
Sandy leaves today to have dinner with Joyce, get her hair and teeth done, take Lauren and Megan to Stratford, pick up her car ... hopefully ...
Onward !
