May 7 - testing, 1,2,3

I took Abby for a walk, wearing the new buds.  They sound great !  They should, for the money !

Then I went for a bike ride, south into the wind.  The buds are much better than the cheapies but clearly 75% of the wind noise that I hear is air hitting the outer ear.  I'll have to do some work with those deflectors to help with that.  It was a good ride though, temps in the mid 80's, sunny ... it won't be like that when I go north !

Back home mid afternoon, I had errands to do.  I was heading over to Harbor Freight to pick up a few items, most notably a trailer spare tire.  Well, the largest that they stock is 12" wheels and this trailer takes 13".  Rats.  Advance Auto doesn't stock trailer wheels at all but the lady directed me to a place at 10 & US 1 (we're in Holly Hill at this point) and they did.  I had a choice of two wheels, both same price, white or gray, didn't remember which one I had.  I figured that I had a 50/50 chance ... but of course I came home with the wrong one.  Do I care that the spare tire rim is a different color ?  If I get a chance, I'll go back and swap but it's not life or death.

Sandy got to Mariadela's around 4pm.  I finally heard from her late in the evening; she'd been talking ever since she arrived.  Naturally the traffic was heavy around Washington and she stopped a couple of times.

I booked dinner with Gene and Judy for Friday; they'd invited me over and we've now pinned down a date/time.   5:30.

Today I'm either off to Performance Bike or I'll go for another ride.  I guess that I could drive via Holly Hill.  Since I plan to ride all weekend, perhaps I should ride.  I'll pend that decision for now.  I've got John at the gym in 1/2 hour.

Onward !
