Jul 13 - lazing about

The day started that way; feeling like crap from the head cold.  I knew that riding would be tough.

I hate sitting around though so I brought the power washer down from the garage, intending on simply working on the deck railings.  Once I got going, however, I did the entire deck and railings, running the thing for close to three hours.  It now needs some touch up in a couple of places and time to dry.  We need some stain ... and then the work continues.  I might also run the orbital over parts of the railings, although they are awkward with the glass in there.

I watched some Dr. Who on Netflix, tinkered around (meaning that I don't know what happened to the rest of the day) ...

We had pork loin for dinner -- we've eaten well, as usual, over the past few days -- pickerel, west coast salmon, now pork loin -- all fruits of Sandy's trip to Sudbury.  I'm betting that tonight we'll have chicken :).
