Not quite, but snoozing certainly dominated the day. The girls were in great shape, no hint that they even spent most of the night in the car. That was the objective ... worked out well.
I did get out at one point, over to Advance Auto to pick up the trailer hitch lock and then over to Giant for some groceries -- luncheon meat, frozen peas, bread (should have brought bread fixings to make my bread here !), raisin bran and salad bar.
Matthew is spending more time awake now, dozing in and out just like me !
Sara's Mom sent some mail order steaks as a gift and they were packed in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice. Emma had a great time with the dry ice in a pot full of water as the cloud rolled out of the pot. Zoe joined in the fun too once up from her nap.
Sara is recovering nicely but still has to take it easy -- doctor's orders. Jeffrey visited a client in the morning and then was home in the afternoon -- that's his only client visit this week so he's going to be working from home on-and-off, for the rest of the week. He made dinner -- oven cooked chicken, mashed potatoes and corn niblets.
Today, Sandy and I are going to visit Hamid. Shab doesn't know that Sandy is coming -- I've left it that way in case she couldn't get away. Emma might also come, we'll see. The rehab center is about two hours away in Baltimore and I'm guessing that we'll spend two hours there. Shab emailed that he'll be through rehab activities by around 2:30 p.m.
Shab sent this picture a couple of days ago --
Right wrist in cast and neck brace. Even though the vertebrae damage is further down, I guess that they have to immobilize the entire back as much as possible. He will ring the buzzer each time through the airport scanner now !
Onward !
