It seems a little better this morning (Thursday) even though I didn't quite sit still with my feet up yesterday. No, I'm not good at that. Yes, with a little muscle squeezing, it's definitely much better this morning. I'll aim for Friday for my next ride, weather permitting.
Fishing was a semi-bust but we did have fish for dinner, a combination of just-caught and out of the freezer. Bass and perhaps a couple of crappy fed the five of us -- we had the Davies over for dinner. I've got to get some more minnows and replenish my stock !
Minnows won't happen today, however. I'm about to head to Toronto for dentist appointments.
I cleaned up the tree trimmings that I'd left on the lower driveway, got Jason going with the splitter (he finished up and it's back in my driveway), tried the 540i rims on Sandy's car (they look great, so we have a snow tire solution for her car), puttered in my work room doing some bicycle maintenance, tried my hand at polishing a titanium tube (success; I'll do the new frame myself) ....
There's more but nothing major. Oh yes, late afternoon I got the weed eater going and did the hill by the kitchen. That machine must know that it's going in the garbage if it doesn't start because it's been running like a champ, once kick-started with some quick-start.
I took a picture of another U.S. check and made that deposit. I like this, much easier than taking it to a U.S. bank when I'm in Canada. In fact, I'll probably do the same in the U.S., why drive to the ATM ?
What else ... don't remember.
Comings and goings -- Jim and Bonnie are back; the Stan and Cathy have left. Jason has a crowd coming in for the weekend, including Lo's Mom and Dad. David has said that he might come up for the weekend but we don't have confirmation on that.
Onward ... breakfast-ward ...
