Sep 9 - update on Hamid

He's making good progress.  I will check in with him today.  I got some pictures from Shab via email which are worth sharing.

So ... if one of your vertebrae looked like the following, do you think that it would be OK to go home ?  You can see the broken pieces pretty clearly.  What were the ER doctors thinking ??!!

 

Now he has lots of Titanium replacing the broken bone and holding everything together ...

I'm not sure that I'd be smiling.  You can somewhat see the contraption on his right wrist if you look closely.
