Oct 21 - all's well

It was an easy last leg to our drive.  Out at 7am; finished by 12:30 p.m.  We unloaded and went over to the Beachside Publix strip mall for Sushi ... but they weren't open for lunch !  Rats !  So we tried the Raw Bar & Grill, which was very good.  It's the first time that we've been there -- Dick and Nuala ate there and liked it.  We'll have to go again.

We did some grocery shopping and then went over to the fish store.  We'd intended to buy Yellowfin Tuna for dinner, which was advertised on their big sign outside, but instead we bought enough for the five of us (Jas, Lo and Kim arriving today).  Sandy took out some west coast salmon that she had in the freezer for dinner.

Everything started up easy.  The internal humidity wasn't as bad as in previous years, so my A/C strategy worked this time.  I'd basically left it on the same schedule that we use when we're here.  It costs a little more but it's easier on the house.  The humidity was still a little high in the upstairs bedroom wing but not too bad; probably would have been better earlier in the day since the A/C would have been cranked down overnight.

The trailer is unhooked and in the driveway.  Jason can help me move it to the side yard.

The outside plantings are in reasonable shape, kept in control by Debbie Gardener.  Her surname isn't actually Gardener, but that's what she does so that's how I remember her.  The banana plants are huge as are some other plantings !  It's amazing how things grow over the summer.  I've got some work ahead of me.

Gene and Judy are in Europe, I think.  Debbie and Harris are home; saw their car in the driveway.  Chet and Jean (?) are supposed to be home next door but didn't see them.  Paul and Judy are home; their house is up for sale again; they've dropped the price again.

Onward ... biking today !
