Oct 28 - yard work

Sandy had some appointments (doctor, dentist, bed.bath.and.beyond) and I hung around the house, mostly.

-- I power washed the little whaler and some of the driveway;
-- hand washed the X5 -- yes, once a year whether it needs it or not
--  assembled the trailer dolly that had just arrived and moved the trailer around a little (I bought one of these for up north as well)
-- hung the fat tire bike from the ceiling of the garage with the Racor bike lift that had also just arrived (what a beast that bicycle is)
-- planned on changing the oil on the X5 but Advance doesn't carry the oil that's specc'd by BMW for the diesel, so I ordered some from Amazon
-- tried to do something about my US Passport but I guess that I'm going to have to use the mail-in service
-- dug out and scanned brevet cards to send in for the ISR (International Super Randonneur) patch
-- etc etc.

Late in the day Harris dropped by and we got organized for a ride today.  Now I've got to get him signed up for RUSA  before the ride (just one of my normal rides).

That's about it ...

Onward !
