I signed Harris up for RUSA and we set out, doing my usual northern route to Flagler Beach and back. He's a strong rider, used to fast paceline rides. I'm certain that he could have dropped me at any time. The distance is longer than his usual, but not much longer and not a killer at 77 miles. The only time that I got ahead of him was on the Port Orange causeway ... yup, one of two hills on the route.
We'd left early, 7:45, and were back for lunch. Abby was here by herself and the cars were both here and I rightly surmised that she'd gone to lunch with Debbie. Harris and I were riding; they were eating. Hmmm.
So ... shower and lunch out of the way, I got organized to renew my passport and that is now in the mail. I had the passport photo taken at CVS. Hopefully they will exceed my expectations and have it back to me before we leave for Christmas. I also made my appointments with Dr. Weir, the dentist, for the next set of crowns. December 16 and 23. I ordered tires for the M5 which will likely be delivered tomorrow, Friday, while we're at Disney.
We're looking at our trip to France next year, planning flights and dates around the Paris-Brest-Paris 1200k.
Onward ? I hope so !
