Nov 18 - ugh

The Facebook news feed says that parts of Upstate New York got six feet of snow and that there are five dead.  Ugh.  Well, it got cold here last night, into the upper thirties, but not that cold !  Not too far north of us they did have frost.  This is very early.  I'd better have those snow tires for the drive north ... or perhaps we should stay here ?

I've been working on Sunshine 1200k communication, trading emails on jersey design and lots of other aspects.  Hotels, ferry, taxis, rules and regulations ... lots to do but I enjoy it.  I've got to get back at the web very soon as I'm planning on opening registration December 1st.

Cold, cold, too cold to ride -- well, not compared to much of the country but compared to what I enjoy, yes cold.  It's about to warm up again and Saturday's ride in St. Petersburg should be pleasant.  The night before, Sandy has a ballet to attend in Sarasota and we're going to have dinner with the Rade's, also in Sarasota; I always forget how we're related but I've got an email somewhere from Barbara that explains everything.

Abby and I will hang out somewhere while Sandy attends the ballet.  Abby would be bored, no doubt would fall asleep, along with me.  I like what Sandy calls the "story ballets" -- Swan Lake, Nutcracker etc. -- it's not so much that they are story ballet because I could never follow the story, but I know and love the music.  She likes it all but truth be told, she really likes to watch those male dancers ...

Did I do anything else yesterday ?  Yes, teeth cleaning.  I was hoping to leave it until closer to Christmas but my gums tell me when it's time.  It was time.  Sandy went to Peter's Wine Shop and got the scoop on what's happened with Peter, from spouse Sandy.  It seems that he had a colonoscopy and they found a tumor, they removed the tumor which turned out to be benign but ended up with an infection and spent 48 days in hospital.  Yes, it's true.  Hospitals can make you sick.  He's on the mend.  That long in hospital probably means that it was touch and go ... yikes.

I did chicken on the barbie, cold notwithstanding.  Oh yes, when out I visited Sports Authority and picked up some running shoes and sandals.  That's blockbuster shopping for me.  I hate shopping and clothes shopping is the worst.

Onward !
