He's come a long way. Still wary of going out by himself, Hamid's got to get over that before he makes real fitness progress. But ... compared to where he was at the end of July ... no comparison !
We had a leisurely breakfast and then headed north. Hamid, Shab and Ali wouldn't be too far behind us as they were going to Jacksonville to drop off Ali and then head to Maryland. Hamid has started to work from home and hopes that the doctor will clear him on Monday to work full time. He's ready.
Home a little after noon, we bustled about; Sandy went grocery shopping and then went to pick up Marda, whose flight was actually coming in early. I busied myself with some Sunshine 1200k stuff, naturally. We go live tonight, i.e. Monday 12:01 a.m. EST. I'll be awake !
We ate at the club, good as always -- inside this time though. It was in the mid 50's outside at the Tiki, not conducive to dinner. Earlier on, in the sun, it would have been pleasant.
After my frustration with the Performance Bike website the other day, they replied that they would waive shipping and overweight. I was also delighted to find that what I was ordering had dropped in price, so I called their 800 number and placed the order. What a deal.
Today, not much planned. I just might go for a bike ride.
