We hopped to the Wilder's; skipped to the Guymon's and jumped to the Thompson's.
We had a good, albeit brief, visit with Linda and Alec. John and Lucas were there as well (son and grandson), as Lucas just had tonsils/adenoids out early in the week. He was doing well. A little shy, he eventually warmed up to Abby and said good-bye to us :).
Linda had prepared some breakfast so we dug in. It was an odd day for eating -- cereal at 7am; egg at 9:30; snack while driving at 2pm; pastry at 4pm; Giant rotisserie chicken and salad at 7pm. Yes, it was that kind of day.
Traffic was a mess on 100 and 202 getting to and from the Guymon's, but we expected that. Doris has just started undergoing a round of BC chemo but was feeling better. Hopefully she'll continue to tolerate it and even more hopefully, it will have the expected effect. She was just about past the five year mark and some spots showed up on her lungs and liver ... needless to say, she's in our thoughts. They hope to get down to Florida this winter but that will depend on how well she's feeling. She's certainly motivated !
We stopped at Giant on the way to Jeffrey's and picked up dinner; got there in time to see the three kids. Sara went out shopping later ... yes, she likes that late night shopping ... as I went to bed. We each have our own priorities :).
Today I have a couple of errands to do in the area, not much else. Tomorrow I will head to Mass and then we'll head north.
Onward !
