Feb 13 - more chasing

I wish that there was a way to kick some of these people in the butt and get them online to settle up for the last items of their Sunshine 1200k booking.  I'm getting frustrated by people who say that they're going to get in there and finalize, but don't.  I've got 12 people with "?" beside their name which means that they either haven't decided on what they're doing, haven't paid or haven't responded to all my emails.  As a percentage of registered riders, that 19%.  That's ridiculous.  I'm half-way tempted to simply finalize the ferry arrangements and then let these people take care of things on their own.  At some point we'll get to that.

I won't do this again or rather, won't do it this way again.  It's too frustrating.

I tripped out to the BMW dealer because I hadn't heard anything about the throttle component that I think is faulty.  It's expensive, almost $700, but installation is less than an hour.  Now I have to actually take the car in for diagnostics and then have them clear the repair with the warranty people.

Sandy did get her hair done, now shorter than usual.  I took Abby for a walk.  Another day went by ...

It's cold out there this morning, under 40F ... but I hope to go riding later.
