I'd taken the front rack and light off the bike to look at it for welding so I got that back together, checked the bike over (quickly, need to do it carefully before this weekend's 600k), and squeezed in a ride into the WNW wind. After the 600k last weekend, the legs were a little stiff but eventually loosened up.
Home at 3pm, I caught up on a few things and then we hit the road to Orlando. Jason and Loraine are staying at "Vacation Village" for the week, something they picked up with RCI. It's a massive development. They're in building 16 and I think that there are 21 buildings or something like that. Their rental condo is basically two full 1-bedroom suites each with kitchen. Too bad that Abby wasn't allowed or we'd have stayed overnight.
We visited there for a few minutes and then headed to the Big River Grill and Brewing Works which is located on the Boardwalk by Epcot. We ate well and cheaply at $42 per couple including tip. It would have been more except that Loraine had a $10 coupon and we had the Tables in Wonderland pass which gives you a 20% discount. Even so, it would have been reasonable. As Jason said, you're hardly ever disappointed by the quality of food at Disney, or at least in the restaurants. With many you might be shell shocked by the price ... but not this one.
J&L will be staying there for the week, leaving on Sunday for the Great White North. They drove down from South Carolina where they'd attended a wedding and then spent a cool and wet week with Mike, Jill and Eris (granddaughter). Gavin, Amanda and Kyle were there for the wedding and then went back home. Kim, of course, is tripping in South America.
We were back home after 11pm. Abby was happy to see us back.
Onward !
