At this point it seems that the Sunshine 1200k is my life. Emails, telephone calls, issues, non-issues, I surely wish that someone would work on the food aspects but no one even wants to comment, afraid that they'll get sucked in, apparently !
I did do some more fiddling with the GB bike bag, replacing the cardboard stiffener with an aluminum U. I had to go to Fastenall to pickup some longer M5 bolts, needed 30mm and only had 25mm.
Some things are falling into place; a few I'm worried about. I'll be worried about it until the ride is over with, no doubt.
Nice, hot weather continues. Please, please don't let it be too hot for the Sunshine 1200 main event !
Nothing else comes to mind. We had chicken for dinner ... ha.
Oh yes, I lugged some tools down to the dock expecting to cut up those broken pieces of decking that had been removed by the guys installing new posts. I then decided that most were useable and mostly filled in the gaps, making it safe at least for an adult or dog. Abby is smart enough not to step in a hole. Zoe ... I don't know, but she isn't here. If I get up some energy and pickup a few 2x6's I'd replace a large chunk of the deck.
Onward !
